Statement :
"I was born in Yorkshire. After studying and working in theatre,
landscape gardening and architecture, I have returned to my first
love, painting.
While living in Staffordshire, I was fortunate to study with sculptor
John Stuart Osbourne. Since then, I have concentrated on colour,
particularly expressed through the medium of pastel, and focused
on the figure.
I recently exhibited with The Outsider collective, a group of innovative
artists in Wales, and took part in Llanover Hall's Christmas exhibition.
Now I live and work in Cardiff with my wife, Elfie
and our daughter, Liberty. We are engaged in a shared home-education
project which continues to be a delightful commitment".
